چکیده

The majority of tribe Phyllantheae (Phyllanthaceae) is currently placed in the paraphyletic genus Phyllanthus and discussions have persisted on how to resolve this issue. Here, we split into ten monophyletic genera, which are all reinstatements former but with changes made circumscription constituent species each group. genera Breynia, Glochidion Synostemon were recently found be nested within ensued whether or not subsume everything s.l. Instead combining these here implement solution splitting strictly ensure that classification consistent latest phylogenetic results. new based a framework combined differences habit, branching type, floral, fruit pollen morphology. With division Phyllanthus, will consist following 18 genera: Cathetus, Cicca, Dendrophyllanthus, Emblica, Flueggea, Glochidion, Heterosavia, Kirganelia, Lingelsheimia, Lysiandra, Margaritaria, Moeroris, Nellica, Nymphanthus, Plagiocladus Synostemon. As result reinstated five names for illegitimate combinations previous overlooked nomenclatural anomalies 645 proposed. Several keys provided distinguish genera. Full lists given treated except Glochidion.

Molecular phylogenetics of Phyllanthaceae: evidence from plastid MATK and nuclear PHYC sequences.

Plastid matK and a fragment of the low-copy nuclear gene PHYC were sequenced for 30 genera of Phyllanthaceae to evaluate tribal and generic delimitation. Resolution and bootstrap percentages obtained with matK are higher than that of PHYC, but both regions show nearly identical phylogenetic patterns. Phylogenetic relationships inferred from the independent and combined data are congruent and di...

A Phylogenetic Analysis and Classification of Recent Dabbling Ducks (tribe Anatini) Based on Comparative Morphology

ABSTP, Act.--Cladistic analysis of 157 characters of definitive plumages and soft parts, natal plumages, tracheae, and nontracheal skeletons of 59 Anatini (sensu Livezey 1986) provided a phylogenetic hypothesis of high consistency (C! = 0.71, excluding unique autapomorphies) and resolution (tree completely resolved except for two nested trichotomies, a trichotomy within the northern-hemisphere ...

A Revised Classification of Anonymity

This paper primarily addresses the issue of identifying all possible levels of digital anonymity, thereby allowing electronic services and mechanisms to be categorised. For this purpose, we sophisticate the generic idea of anonymity and, filling a niche in the field, bring the scope of trust into the focus of categorisation. One major concern of our work is to propose a novel and universal taxo...

Phylogenetic systematics and a revised generic classification of anthidiine bees (Hymenoptera: Megachilidae).

The bee tribe Anthidiini (Hymenoptera: Megachilidae) is a large, cosmopolitan group of solitary bees that exhibit intriguing nesting behavior. We present the first molecular-based phylogenetic analysis of relationships within Anthidiini using model-based methods and a large, multi-locus dataset (five nuclear genes, 5081 base pairs), as well as a combined analysis using our molecular dataset in ...

Active pollination favours sexual dimorphism in floral scent.

Zoophilous flowers often transmit olfactory signals to attract pollinators. In plants with unisexual flowers, such signals are usually similar between the sexes because attraction of the same animal to both male and female flowers is essential for conspecific pollen transfer. Here, we present a remarkable example of sexual dimorphism in floral signal observed in reproductively highly specialize...
